As we prepare for our middle school students to return to in-person learning on Monday, we would like to thank all of our families for your continued support and patience over the last several months.

Middle school will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday. Students in cohort A will attend Monday and Thursday for full days; students in cohort B will attend Tuesday and Friday for full days. Wednesday remains a remote learning day for all.

The high school will begin in-person learning on Monday, February 22. Students will also attend full days split by cohorts.

Schedules for second semester are posted on our website: https://sites.google.com/asd103.org/anacorteslearns/2020-21-school-year/instruction/6-12-hybrid

Remote vs. In-Person Instruction

Depending on class schedules, and course content, some secondary teachers may be offering virtual classes concurrently to students who are home and in-person cohorts. For example, while students in cohort A are attending in-person, students in cohort B may be able to join a class via Zoom to receive classroom instruction. This is course-specific, and teachers will provide further details to their students. Students must attend in-person on their assigned cohort day.

Face Mask Requirements

We have updated our facemask requirements to follow CDC guidelines. Please note that “gaiters” are no longer an acceptable face covering. We have extra masks at all buildings if anyone needs one.

Our teams have worked incredibly hard to ensure that students can safely return to school. We are ready for them, but we also need your help. Please continue to be vigilant against the spread of the coronavirus.

  • Wear a mask
  • Wash your hands
  • Stay home when possible
  • If you must travel out of state, follow CDC quarantining guidelines
  • Limit in-person interactions (no sleepovers, no parties, no carpools)

Remember that this is not forever. But if we all continue to do our part, we can get through this.

If you have questions, please continue to reach out to your principal or contact us at (360) 503-1200 or information@asd103.org
