Anacortes Community Taskforce - Healthy Youth Survey & Community Center Update
The Anacortes Community Task Force will be hosting a community stakeholder meeting on May 16, 2017 at 7 pm in the Anacortes City Council Chambers at 904 6th St. In 2013, the Anacortes Community Task Force formed in response to concerns about the negative effects of drugs and alcohol in our community. The Task Force is made up of leaders from the City of Anacortes, the Anacortes Police Department, the Anacortes School District, Island Hospital, Skagit County, and local community and youth agencies. The goals of the Task Force remain to increase support for children and families to promote healthy choices, to build awareness about drugs and alcohol, and to develop a safe place for kids and teens. Please attend the stakeholder session to learn about the continued work underway to address drug and alcohol issues in our community. Learn more about our community’s successes, challenges, partnerships, and be the first to see the trends in the latest Healthy Youth Survey Results.
