Anacortes Wellness Coalition Film Series:

Join Anacortes School District staff and community members for a free special viewing and discussion of this award-winning documentary series!  The final chapter of the series, "DNA Is Not Our Destiny," will be Tuesday, February 6, 6:15 - 8:00 pm at the Anacortes Public Library.  The series explores community resilience and the ways a strong start for all our kids can lead to better individual outcomes and a healthier, safer, more prosperous and equitable America.  This particular segment is on the fascinating topic of epigenetics, or how environmental influences are encoded on our genetic blueprint.
