Brodniak Award Reception

Sherry Chavers is this year’s recipient for the Walter A. Brodniak Cultural Education Award for her work with students on poetry and literacy. Chavers shows a passion for learning and is able to connect with students on a creative level through her volunteer work. We invite the community to join us at a reception to recognize Chavers on Thursday, May 31 from 5 to 5:45 p.m. in the Anacortes Middle School library.
