Many national college entrance exams are available to AHS students.
PSAT - a practice SAT that's offered to 9th -11th grades on a school day in the fall. This test is not for college entrance but juniors taking it become eligible for certain scholarships. You can find more information online at the College Board Website. Emails are sent out to our students and families when the registration window is open.
SAT - a commonly required college entrance exam offered to 11th and 12th graders in both Fall and Spring during the school day. Emails are sent out to our students and families when the registration window is open for school-day tests at AHS. ASVAB - students who are interested in a military career can look into taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) to predict success in the military.
Advanced Placement - AHS also offers 10 AP courses during the year. The goal of the courses is to earn college credit with eligible test scores. Speak with a counselor about registering for one of these classes.
