Don't forget the details! 6th grade: 8:30am-12pm (students only) Wear comfortable clothes, don't bring all your stuff, and you won't need your cell phone - travel light! 7th/8th Grade: From 1:00pm-1:30pm, new to AMS 7th and 8th grade transfer students are invited to the building for a shortened WEB orientation to get acquainted with the building and also go through individual schedules. At the conclusion of this time, students may welcome their parents/guardians in the building for self-guided tours and make purchases at this time. From 1:00 pm-5:00 pm returning 7th and 8th grade students/families are welcome to come into the building to get a copy of their schedule and go through a self-guided tour and make any purchases needed. This day is not required, but invitational. Teaching staff will not be on-site during this time. IMPORTANT!! Please know that once students can view their schedules they remain in draft form until the day before school starts. We do our very best to provide finalized schedules on the 22nd but on occasion continue to make changes until Sept 3rd. Please be sure your student checks Skyward/Schoology for the most up to date version of their schedule in case there are changes! Students and families also have access starting on the 22nd to pay items online or in the main office. Students who are unable to attend Start Up may stop by AMS on Wednesday, August 28 from noon-3:00 pm to pick up their schedules and participate in a self-guided tour of the building.
