Fingerprint Instructions:
Go to the Anacortes Police Department to be fingerprinted. Fingerprints are offered on Wednesday mornings only between 8:00 am - noon. Please call for an appointment.
Bring applicant fingerprint card to the police department (attached.) Must use card provided by the school district.
After you are fingerprinted, please bring completed applicant card back to the District Office. Return card to Shelby Vander Kooy. Please call 360-503-1203 when you arrive, and we will meet you at the door.
The District will mail your applicant card to OPSI in Olympia for fingerprint results. This must be accompanied by a check, or money order for $50.00 made out to OSPI. If you are a contracted employee, you may have this amount deducted from your first check.
It takes approximately 2-3 weeks to receive results. If your prints are rejected, you will need to be reprinted until we can get a result. You only need to pay once. If you need to be reprinted, you will take the rejected cards along with a new card to the Police Department.
Thank you!
Please be sure to call ahead to schedule your appointment with the police department. The PD may have a different schedule, or procedure.
