Resetting Passwords
The Technology Services department has provided a few ways to reset your ASD password. The recommended method is using the Clever portal.
You can access the password reset portal from any device, from any internet connection.
If you know your password and are able to sign into the Clever Portal, simply login and click on your name at the top right, then select Change AD password from the dropdown.
Enter your new password.
Select Set New Password.
If you have forgotten your password and are unable to login to any ASD systems, you can use the Account Recovery feature to reset your password and regain access.
Note - You have to enroll in the Account Recovery tool before you can use this feature. If you have not enrolled in Account Recovery, you will need to call Technology Services to reset your password at 360-503-1220.
To begin, navigate to https://clever.com/in/anacortes and select Get help signing in! then click Recover Active Directory account with backup login method.
Enter your user identifier (your ASD username), Clever will send you a verification code through the method that you selected when setting up account recovery. Once you enter the verification code you received, you can set a new password:
Enter your new password.
Confirm your new password.
Select Set Password.
If you are currently logged into your ASD Windows computer, you can simply hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and select "Change Password".
Check your email and follow the instructions provided to change your Skyward Family Access password.
Starting in the 23/24 school year, teachers are able to reset the passwords for their student's ASD login without contacting Technology Services. This is done using clever, and uses the same password requirements listed above for your grade level. Follow the process below, and contact Tech Services if you need help!
Login to Clever as Teacher
Search for your student in the top right search box. (You can also select the student from the student list on the left, select the student's name and select Reset Active Directory password.
A window will pop up allowing you to reset the student's Clever password.
Enter the new password and hit the button for Set new password
If the student still cannot login to their Chromebook with the new password, remove their profile and have them login again.
